Treasurer Mandel holds Final Financial Literacy Conference of 2013 in Cincinnati
The Ohio Treasurer’s Office held the fifth and final Smart Money Choices conference for the 2013 season in Cincinnati on Friday, August 16th. During the conference, participants listened in on financial education seminars touching on financial planning topics including budgeting, credit and debt, investments, retirement planning, student funding and consumer protection.
Smart Money Choices is a free, half-day financial planning conference held annually for all Ohioans by the Ohio Treasurer’s Office and supported by a variety of statewide and regional partners. The conference participants heard from money management professionals on a variety of financial literacy topics to help them make more informed and knowledgeable decisions in their financial lives.
