First Half of 2024 Sees Ag-LINK Outpacing Last Year’s Record-Breaking Savings

COLUMBUS – Treasurer Sprague announced that the Ag-LINK program has helped Ohio’s farmers, agribusinesses, and agricultural cooperatives (co-ops) to save $9,487,642 during first half of 2024. Thus far, savings achieved through Ag-LINK are on pace to top 2023’s record-setting year.

Major New State Infrastructure Project Revenue Bonds receive S&P credit rating upgrade to AA+

COLUMBUS – Today, Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague announced a credit rating upgrade from Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings (S&P) to AA+ for Ohio’s Major New State Infrastructure Project Revenue Bonds. S&P cited the “expectation that pro forma maximum annual debt service (MADS) coverage will remain very strong” as well as “Ohio’s demonstrated history of maintaining an adequate level of lawfully available funds” and “strong federal and state programmatic support” among reasons for the upgrade.

Treasurer Sprague, Summit County Announce STABLE Account Partnership

COLUMBUS – During Monday’s county council meeting and in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague and Summit County officials announced a new partnership that will make it easier for county employees to take advantage of STABLE accounts. The measure allows eligible employees to opt-in to have a portion of their paycheck deposited directly into a STABLE account for themselves or a qualifying family member.
