State Board of Deposit Votes to Approve Cryptocurrency Vendor to Facilitate Payments to State

COLUMBUS –Yesterday, Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague and the State Board of Deposit unanimously approved Grant Street Group as the vendor to facilitate the acceptance of cryptocurrency payments for state fees and services. The State Board of Deposit is a three-member regulatory board made up of the Treasurer of State, Auditor of State and State Attorney General.

Buckeye Business Advantage Program to Launch Later This Month

COLUMBUS –Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague is proud to announce a new program aimed at helping Ohio small business owners access low-cost capital. Launching later this month, Buckeye Business Advantage will allow for reduced interest rate loans to Ohio businesses with 150 employees or fewer.

Treasurer Sprague, Logan County Announce STABLE Account Partnership

COLUMBUS – Yesterday, during a meeting with the county commissioners and in conjunction with National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Ohio Treasurer Robert Sprague and Logan County officials announced a new partnership that will make it easier for county employees to take advantage of STABLE accounts. The measure allows eligible employees to opt-in to have a portion of their paycheck deposited directly into a STABLE account for themselves or a qualifying family member.
